What will I learn?
You will learn the basics of UX/UI design and the role of a designer.

You will learn how to conduct UX research and analyze user behavior.

You will gain knowledge of composition and visual design - colors, typography, layout.

You will learn how to work with Figma.

You will understand the technical aspects of WEB design, animation, and mobile design.

What will I be able to do after the training?

After the training, you will have a strong foundation in creating UI/UX design for websites.

You will be familiar with the stages of a UX and UI design project.

You will be able to analyze and identify good and bad practices of existing websites.

You will be able to quickly prepare and present initial ideas to clients, develop final drawings and prepare them for programming.

  • Web pages, their types, terminology
  • Introduction to UX/UI and Design Thinking
  • Choosing a topic for a coursework, ie web page design
  • Competitor analysis
  • Practical work: types of web pages, UX/UI criteria, topic selection, competitor analysis
  • Familiarity with user research methods: surveys, interviews, Google Analytics, A/B testing and other methods.
  • Practical work: construction of user interviews and survey questions, interviews and surveys in groups
  • UX user research methods and methods for systematizing research insights: affinity diagram, persona, user empathy map, user journey map, user flow diagram. Using AI tools to construct questions
  • Practical work: working on FigJam interactive whiteboard – affinity diagram, persona, user empathy map, user journey map, user flow diagram
  • Information architecture, organization, naming, navigation and search systems. Sitemap creation, wireframes sketch creation and practices.

  • Creating a color and typography library in Figma

  • Photo and illustration styles, web requirements, AI tools to edit or create photos and illustrations
  • Introduction to photo editing in Adobe Photoshop
  • Working with photos and illustrations in Figma, creating gradients
  • Practical work: selecting photos and/or illustrations for the project and placing them in Figma
  • UI components and their states: buttons, menus, cards, forms, filters, and others
  • Practical work: Creating a component library in Figma, sharing libraries between teams, working with a final project
  • Types of web animations, microinteractions, animations in the Figma program
  • Practical work: Figma prototype animation, work with Figma final project
  • Communication with programmers, transfer of design files to programmers.
